Simple, stupid fantasy

I routinely think about when we go out to eat together and you ordering for me.
Not just relaying my order but choosing for me.
I don't know what it is about that but the idea of taking in whatever it is you desire, is somehow very appealing.
I think about it in the context of just the two of us but also when we go out with others. I can imagine explaining it to people, those close to me who are supportive will totally get it. Others (my mother) will not, though she's aware of my predilections...she just thinks I'm confused and wrong.
I was mentally testing myself the other day, there is a particular restaurant that I always want to go to when I'm in Idaho for a particular item on the menu and I was asking myself how I would feel if you didn't choose that for me.
The response was immediate, it would be fine.
I will share some insights though...
I hate peas, olives, and avocados (I know, I know...what's wrong with me? I can't tell you...I just hate them). Fish sauce...anything Thai really. Black licorice or anything that tastes like it. Those are some of the biggies.
I don't feel like I have a lot of foods that I'm crazy about that I go out of my way to have regularly. Other than my new Nespresso addiction and my Perrier 16.5 oz plastic bottle water addiction. Do beverages count?
I like artichokes, Brussel sprouts, asparagus, squash...most vegetables. I'm not wild about bell peppers but I manage (I like them better cut really small).
I try to avoid carbs like bread and pasta because to me, those are better than chocolate which I am not actually a big fan of.
I'm on a big kick for these salted caramel oat milk bars as far as desserts. I can usually get suckered in for tiramisu or creme brûlée.
Not big on fish (particularly not a fan of salmon). Though I will say, there have been a few occasions where it has been cooked a certain way and I was a fan.
Oh...the ID restaurant favorite...just in case you ever need to know...Sausage Havarti Aebleskivers from Old European in Post Falls. Normally I'm just an eggs (over medium) and rye toast kind of breakfast girl...sometimes sausage or bacon, sometimes hash browns. I can actually USUALLY make eggs without breaking the yoke.
